Excerpt of DIRTY VERSE (Dirty Rock 1)
JAX I wasn’t ready for it to end, wasn’t ready to pull my hands back from cupping her delicious ass, to remove my tongue from her body and hear the director say, “Thank you, we’re done here!” I wanted to stay in the moment with Aria. I could feel her heart racing as I pressed her body up against my own. The swell of her breasts pushed against my chest, her tiny nipples were hard against my skin, pressing through the lace, begging to be touched, licked, and rolled beneath my fingers. The heat between her legs was fiery against my stomach, and I wanted to roll my hips and…

New Release Alert! DIRTY VERSE is #LIVE!
The second I saw her, I knew she would be mine. Swaying seductively to the music, eyes closed, head thrown back, lost in the magic of the music. Her long lithe body and mouth-watering curves had me instantly mesmerized. Her beauty, incomparable, sultry and exotic, called to every cell in my body, louder than the 120 decibels of our last concert. It should have been easy. Women threw themselves at me day and night. Fans, groupies, waitresses and hairstylists, I was never at a loss for a new body to warm my bed. But Aria Winters was not just another girl. Unphased by fame and stardom, she looked at me…

The Creative Process
What is your creative process? Are you a push through the blockages kind of writer or do you prefer to go-with-the-flow and ride the inspiration wave? I’ll be honest. The month of February has been tough on me. Blame it on Mercury being in retrograde, bad planning or just plain old writer’s block but the words were not flowing as they should have this month. I do suspect that is was a combination of all three. However… and you can totally call me superstitious for this, but as soon as the 20th hit and I did my retrograde clearing ritual (candle lighting, crystal healing and some intention releasing) my mojo…

Digital, paper or audio?
Reading used to be a simple, one option activity. Pick up a book and turn the pages. Nowadays, we can read on pretty much any digital device, as well as listen to our books on audio. But does this mean that books are going 100% digital and paper pages will one day be a thing of the past? As much as I love having options, I certainly hope not. For myself, I think that each reading medium has its place and all are valid ways to read. I continue to read paperbacks and hardbacks of my favourite fiction and non-fiction books. I am always adding to my collection and love…

Pirates and Plagiarists
Dark topic today, folks. We’re talking pirates and plagiarists! Why? Because the drama in Romancelandia has been alive and well, these past few days. Drama itself is a fairly typical event and one that I try to stay away from but when it comes to these specific topics, I feel it’s important that we all step up. Plagiarists This week, news got out that an “author” stole word-for-word passages from another well-known author. It’s certainly not the first time that this has happened, and sadly, it probably won’t be the last. Typically, when this situation occurs, ghostwriters are blamed. The accused will say that they had no idea and completely…

Behind the scenes of this author’s process…
Want to know what goes on behind the scenes of this author’s process? Readers often ask me what my writing process is. Where do I get my ideas from? How do I mesh them all togther and create a book? So, with this in mind, I’ve decided to give you a little inside scoop on how it’s done! First of all, it’s important to note, that every writer has a different process. Sure we are all either plotters, pantsers or something in between, but in the end, it’s about settling on an idea and running with it. I like to think of myself as a plotster, a little of this…

What to read next?
What to read next? That is the question! There seems to be two types of readers. Those who have an ongoing list and easily jump from shelving a book, to starting a new one. And the second group, those who flounder around; looking for book recommendations under every rock, hoping and praying that their next five star read, will jump out and find them. I guess it’s pretty obvious which camp I’m in, right? I’d love to have a long TBR list of books that I could easily dip into, on a moment’s notice. But for me, it just doesn’t work that way. Not to mention… someone else’s five star…
