    The Creative Process

    What is your creative process? Are you a push through the blockages kind of writer or do you prefer to go-with-the-flow and ride the inspiration wave? I’ll be honest. The month of February has been tough on me. Blame it on Mercury being in retrograde, bad planning or just plain old writer’s block but the words were not flowing as they should have this month. I do suspect that is was a combination of all three.     Digital, paper or audio?

    Reading used to be a simple, one option activity. Pick up a book and turn the pages. Nowadays, we can read on pretty much any digital device, as well as listen to our books on audio. But does this mean that books are going 100% digital and paper pages will one day be a thing of the past? As much as I love having options, I certainly hope not. For myself, I think that each reading medium has its place and all are valid ways to read. I continue to read paperbacks and hardbacks of my favourite fiction and non-fiction books.     Dark topic today, folks. We’re talking pirates and plagiarists! Why? Because the drama in Romancelandia has been alive and well, these past few days. Drama itself is a fairly typical event and one that I try to stay away from but when it comes to these specific topics, I feel it’s important that we all step up.
